Why Do We Insist on Quality?
Stainless steel comes in different grades with AISI316 and AISI304 topping the list. These are the grades we use depending on the location of your structure. AISI316 is 70% more expensive than AISI 304. It?s percentage of chromium is very high and there is used in areas with a lot of moisture in the air like the seaside, swimming pool and air polluted areas. AISI means American Iron and Steel Institute. AISI 200 is the lowest grade. Unfortunately, that is what is predominant in the market also it has lowest resistance to corrosion.
